| The OLD DOMINION CHAPTERNATIONAL RAILWAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY |
After 30 wonderful years, the Richmond Railroad Museum and the Old Dominion Chapter have run our final excursion trips from Dillwyn, Va. Our host railroad did not renew our contract for 2023.
However, the Richmond Railroad Museum is joining forces with the Military Railroad Society at Fort Eustis, Va. to offer train trips this year. Our passenger cars have already been moved to the base in preparation for the excursions.
We expect to share a schedule of trains later this summer which will also include the famous Santa Express holiday tradition. See you soon!

Let us take you back in time aboard vintage rail cars on a real 60-minute train ride. Lifetime memories are made aboard our trains including on the Santa Express as the jolly old elf and the Singing conductor create holiday magic for their young passengers.
Trains operate along an 8-mile loop at Ft. Eustis, Va. There are bathrooms aboard the trains and souvenirs are available.
Tickets are not currently on sale. Follow us on Facebook and check this website for announcements of on-sale dates.
